Lamborghini Scotland Tour 2016: bull fest
The 2016 Lamborghini Scotland Tour was quite awesome, as with everything that is organized by the brand from Sant’Agatha Bolognese. The italian manufacturer invited its UK owners to bring out their fast toys for a drive around Scotland (as well as bringing some demo cars, obviously). Some of the cars included are a few Lamborghini Aventador SV roadster (including a stupendous “Viola Ophelia” one – that’s a pretty rare colour too) and Aventador SV, quite a bunch of Lamborghini Huracan & Huracan spyder. What I’ve always liked about Lamborghini cars (and in a sense, their owners) is the fantasy that surrounds their models, especially when it comes to colours: contrary to Ferrari which still is a bit conservative (“rosso” being the king), Lamborghini can be found in all sorts of shiny & extravagant colours: orange, red, yellow, green, blue… it’s like a real rainbow. To me, a supercar has to be colourfur & original.
The bull squad started off at Loch Lomond and toured Scotland and some magical places, as you will see in the video: Murthly Castle, Edinburgh Castle, Taymouth Castle. I’m sure my pals from GT Scotland would’ve loved to join them and check it out, though the events seems to have been organized on the down-low, which I can fully understand. Funnily enough, I didn’t find anything about this on their Facebook page up until… well, today! Damn news feed lol.
All this tour was missing were kilts & bagpipes!
