Ferrari 458MM Speciale in action at Goodwood FoS
The one-off Ferrari 458MM Speciale has already been the subject of two articles in my website. First of all, when the spyshots arrived, and second of all, when Ferrari officially revealed the model. At first, we all thought this incredible unique Ferrari was based on the 488, but it’s actually based on a Ferrari 458 Speciale.
When I attended the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed, can you imagine my surprise when I noticed that this unique car was actually there? Indeed, deep down the supercar paddock by Michelin, there it was, parked next to a yellow Ferrari F12 TDF. I was very very excited. After seeing the unique Ferrari SP12-EC (which belonged to Eric Clapton) back in 2013, here I was, witnessing yet another Special Projects in action.
I was very delighted to hear the Ferrari 458MM Speciale in action. It is a brutal thing, without a doubt: the car played the game of the FoS by going up the hill, revving the engine from time to time, doing a few slides & what not. Though you could tell that sometime the driver didn’t go flat out either (actually, I have no idea who was driving it, but for some reason I doubt it was the actual owner). But what a car, really! Hope you enjoy it!!
