Bugatti lifestyle collection opens up in Monaco!
A day or two before the Top Marques salon opened in Monaco, petrolheads assisted to the arrival of a Bugatti Chiron, the latest hypercar from Molsheim. The full-black car was unloaded at the Fairmont hotel in Monaco, and quickly put inside a Bugatti showrooms (which previously used to be a Marussia showroom, BTW). Many people, myself included, were wondering what it was actually doing over there, with the a black & blue Vitesse. But there is always a reason guys, always!
Indeed, Bugatti apparently opened up a shop in Monaco. Just like the one they already have in London, where two or three exclusive models showed-up for the occasion (including the Saphir Bleu). Well, it seems Bugatti is now seriously considering to surf on their name and on what their name represents: it’s a status thing, really. Bugatti means performance, it means luxury, it means perfection. And their clothes sort of reflect this, I guess.
They apparently already have 4 different types of collection, and it’s both for men & women as well. One of them being the “Collection Chiron”. I’m not a big fashionista, I’ll have to admit. BUT, these clothes do look fairly good. And they’re definitely a luxury item: almost as expensive as the cars. A Chiron driving jacket will cost you €3600. Even the Chiron cap is about €59, which is… well, a lot. I’m usually a big fan of memorabilia / goodies from brands. But here, it’s quite expensive I feel, contrary to Ferrari stuff (which might actually be declined in way too many different forms). That being said, Bugatti is probably trying to step-up its game and enter a “high-luxury” clientele as well. Usually, when you can’t buy the car, you show your love & appreciation for the brand in a very different yet sincere way. But the cool thing is they have almost everything you can dream of: jackets, vests, shirts, caps, scarves, sunglasses, wallets, pants, parkas… everything !! That’s a nice way to start a Bugatti lifestyle collection!
