New Huracan LP580-2 spyder spotted testing
aaaah… Sant’Agatha Bolognese. Deep down in the beautiful Emilie-Romagne region of Italy, lies good wine, good food butalsot the home of the Automobili Lamborghini factory. Recently, the italian brand has changed CEO, with Domenicali replacing Stephan Winklemann. That means a change of management, but in theory, not too much change as far as new models are concerned: they’re staying true to their lines. That means keeping the Urus program, Lambo’s SUV, special edition models, as well as developping the Huracan in the same way the Gallardo was cherished and loved, for over 10 years. Well, I can’t say that for certain, but it would seem like commercial suicide to head in a different direction after seeing the succesful recipe of the Gallardo over the years.
Just like pretty much every model to come out of the Lambo factory, it is no surprise then that a new raging bull has been spotted ouside the mothership. The swiss photographer Nico K. Photography, probably around on a trip, was lucky enough to spot the Lambo and upload his pictures on Autogespot. What he saw is apparently the new Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2 spyder spotted testing.
It boasts a pretty cool spec, though a bit unusual, if you ask me. There haven’t been any “white car” for presentation for a long time. That being said, this is merely a “test car” and definitely does NOT count as a demo car. That being said, the red soft-tissue top is definitely a good match with the white exterior. It always is, just merely overplayed a bit.
The LP580-2 spyder is set to be a rear-wheel drive and the heir to the “Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni”. It’s not much of a crazy new car with new technology, but it’s nice to see the Huracan taking the same path as the Gallardo. This makes, give or take, about FIVE different models of the Huracan so far!
