The swedish brand has taken a brand new dimension in the past few years, without a doubt (just like Pagani, BTW). With an expansion clearly going beyond Europe, the year 2016 has seen record sales it seems. No wonder the orders are almost full: out of the planned 80 units of the Regera, only a few slots are left! (and to think they only made 25 Agera RS). They’ve made it in a very stable way, and established themselves as a pioneering car manufacturer focused on tech, lovely design, numbers.
The first Regera is carbon green, reminiscing of the British Racing Green, in a way. I seriously can’t wait to see that carbon-weave from up-close at the Motor Show! The interior is brown leather, and looks stunning with the outside. Even if it looks absolutely amazing, and the use of carbon-fiber makes it that much more insane, I believe it’s safe to say that the spec is quite « classic ». And by classic, I mean no disrespect – I just don’t see the « je ne sais quoi » on this one! But don’t get me wrong, I find it magnificent: it feels more classy and humble.
Contrary to the next Regera, which I find massively bold and « crazy ». First of all, it features a combination of « candy apple red » (the colour on the demo car) and clear carbon on the hood and a few parts (like air intakes). The interior is a bit crazier, with black & red (though it fits perfectly with the colours of the car, obviously). So when you think about it, I believe it’s the « two-tone » effect that makes me drool, as well as the use of a super bright colour!
These two Regera are part of the 3 cars that will be shown at the motor show.
The other one is the Agera RS « GRYPHON » (yes, like the mythical animal). It makes me feel pretty good – though it looks a lot like the Hundra and some hints of an existing One:1… With a bit of Naraya. Still, it’s pretty good-looking and I’m definitely not complaining. But to be honest? I’m fairly certain all eyes will be on the two Regera! WOW!
